  • Chichaqua Valley Trail, IA
    The Chichaqua Valley Trail in eastern Polk County is an old railroad right-of-way approximately 20 miles long from Bondurant to Baxter in Jasper County. The asphalt surface, gentle grades (less than 2%), and scenery of the Skunk River Valley will make you want to keep pedaling until you run out of trail.

  • Clarion Highlands Trail (Sandy Creek Trail Section), PA
    The Sandy Creek Trail has eight miles of asphalt surface trail that was completed in 2000. The Sandy Creek Trail follows the path of an old railroad that attempted to make a fairly straight trip up the twisting valley of Sandy Creek.

  • Cold Spring Bike Path, NJ
    The Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders officially opened the Cold Spring Bike Path in Lower Township on December 4, 2002. The 2.72-mile bike path runs from Sandman Boulevard to Sally Marshall Crossing in Atlantic Electric’s right-of-way on the former West Jersey and Seashore Railroad Company rail bed.
