- Blackwater Heritage State Trail
The Blackwater Heritage State Trail is the site of an abandoned railroad, formerly the Florida and Alabama Railroad. It was built in the early 1900s for the Bagdad Lumber and Land Company. In 1939, the lumber mill closed and the railroad was retired until World War II. It then became the route supplying Whiting Field Naval.
